The Rev. Scot McComas blessed prayer shawls made by members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry to be given to people in need of comfort. A prayer shawl is a tangible sign of the gift of God’s love and our prayers for people in need. We prayed with Father Scot,
Heavenly Father, we ask your blessing upon these shawls, that whomever receives them may be wrapped in your love and know your ultimate comfort, your ultimate healing, and that peace which passes all understanding. We ask you to be with these folks, as well as their caretakers and their families and those who love them, that your love and your life and your peace fill them with eternal hope. We pray this in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen
