Join us for Service Sunday on October 11

Service Sunday is coming! Here’s a chance to help feed 100 people who know what it feels like to go hungry. Service Sunday invites kids, teens and adults to help make sack lunches for the homeless served by Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County.

Join us this Sunday, October 11 in the education building. Here’s some ways that you can help:

  • Bake nut-free cookies, treats or brownies and pack them in individual plastic baggies for the lunches. Bring them to the education building on Sunday, October 11 by 12 pm.
  • We need those early birds! Help set up the “assembly line” at 9:30 am in the education building. We’ll set up the sandwich fixings, water bottles, chips, etc.
  • Join us from 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm in the education building and make sandwiches and assemble lunches, design lunch sacks and help us load up our delivery vehicle.
  • Pray for the homeless.

You can truly make a difference in someone’s life, right here in the Fort Worth community. Remember:

I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me… Matthew 25:35

Many Thanks

Thanks so much to those who support the ministry of Service Sunday by donating supplies, time and talent. It just takes happy hearts and a willing spirit to help those in need. See you Sunday!
