Gratitude and a full tummy to all!
On Sunday, May 21, the youth had a successful fundraiser for our New Mexico mission trip! We served up plate after plate of delicious spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad for all of our hungry congregants. I would like to say a special thank you to all of our hard-working youth who dedicated their morning and afternoon to prepare, serve, and clean up after all the fun; another thank you to our wonderful pianist for the afternoon, Luca; and a great big thank you to everyone who donated food, money, and their lunchtime to join us! We wouldn’t be successful without all of the support and love that we gather from each other at St. Martin’s! We collected $643 for the Pecos mission trip! Thank you for your generosity!
We are less than a month away from our time at Our Lady of Guadalupe Abbey in Pecos, New Mexico, where we’ll be sharing a week of intentional spiritual practices and service to the community. We are counting down the days until June 17! As always, prayers are deeply appreciated for all who are going. Would you please join me in daily prayer for all who are participating? Carla Pulliam and Rhonda & Tony Ackley are the other adults serving our team, and youth who are going are Ainsley W., Kyra W., Max T., Elena P., Bates P., Rose A., Nick A., Luca B., Leena R., John D., and Gabby J.
