EYC Prayer Loom

The teens are busy this Lent. During Wednesday night meetings, we’ve been looking at the true person of Jesus with the Renegade series. Was he a passive, gentle soul or did he seek to create a new kindgom on earth of rebels and renegades?

This week, we looked at new ways to connect to Jesus. The teens created a prayer loom with yarn. Stringing pieces of yarn on a bulletin board, teens said prayers and made a connection to God.  For a few weeks, we will add to this prayer loom.

Everyone is invited to look for the prayer loom in the education building. You can string prayers with yarn, or grab a piece of paper, write a prayer and tuck it between the pieces of yarn on the board.
