St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church and School together collected 111 coats for adults and children at Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County. UGM received the coats just in time for December’s first cold snap. Thanks to all who cleared their closets, who shopped, and who connected with friends and family for those who truly need. Together, we gave:
- 22 girls’ coats
- 10 boys’ coats
- 55 women’s coats
- 24 men’s coats
Our patron saint, Martin of Tours, tore his cloak on a cold day and covered a poor man who was shivering in the cold. The spirit of St. Martin is alive in our church and school in ways that matter to others!
